The director of this show wanted to go with a disco theme, and so I had lots of fun creating this set. We used PVC pipe that had washed up on the French Broad River from Hurricane Helene as the pipes in Willy Wonka's factory. Transforming the dirty debris from a natural disaster into a colorful theatrical set shows how powerful art truly can be.
