A Streetcar Named Desire

Produced By The Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre.

This is the first black box show that I fully designed and built. Creating a two-level set with a spiral staircase inside a small black box was quite the challenge. I used garden fences from Lowe's to create a New Orleans French Quarter wrought iron balcony. On the second level sat a jazz band that serenaded us throughout the show. The close proximity of the show created a visceral and humanising experience.
