Sister Act

Produced By Parkway Playhouse

For this show, I was tasked with creating stained glass windows that could transform into a brick wall. To do this, I used a miniaturized version of a carousel used in previous shows. Each carousel was used to reveal performers on stage, giving them an exciting entrance. For the stained glass, I used a wash of secondary colors on a synthetic fabric to create a watercolor-esque stained glass effect. The stained glass design was directly inspired by a local Baptist church our audience knows and loves.
Using mechanisms like this greatly elevates the experience for our audience.
