Our Town
Produced By Parkway Playhouse
This classic play by Thornton Wilder is famous for its minimalistic and avant-garde set. The director of this show had an interest in using pallets from Hurricane Helene to construct the set. These pallets were used to carry supplies into Burnsville during the natural disaster. I used these pallets to create the large back wall, the moon, and the set pieces. It is powerful to take a material from a tragic event and transform it into something beautiful using the power of art.
